Week of 9-2-19

For the week of 9/2/2019


  1. Gri & Michael W. – both are being treated for cancer. Fatigue and insomnia have been a struggle.
  2. Diane Mc. -Pray for the seniors of Rancho La Paz Mobile Home Park. New owner increasing rent, unaffordable. Many must sell homes and have nowhere to go. Pray for peace. 
  3. Anonymous – Please pray for my stepdaughter, Becca, for salvation first then God’s hand in her upcoming court case (Jul. 29), domestic case. That God would change her heart and life. 
  4. Lori B. -Please pray for my sister, Donna, she is living with a quarter of a lung and having a complication breathing. She has COPD and Emphysema.
  5. Rhonda C. – Please say a prayer for my brother Richard H. who is losing his eyesight and is almost blind.
  6. Angela C. – Please pray that God will bless my treatment plans as I prep to reduce my medications. 
  7. Peter Bo.- Please pray for my son, he is in a bad relationship, struggling with substance abuse and possible legal consequences. 
  8. Anonymous  – my glaucoma is severe.  Doctors say I’m going blind.  May the LORD have mercy on me! The doctor is now concerned because it looks like my right eye had a retina detached, but it healed itself.  I keep seeing through prisms in the right eye as well.
  9. Anonymous -Pray for Jennifer, her husband left because of drugs, he left her with all the kids. Pray for her husband, Jessie. 
  10. Elham B. -Healing for my body and blood work results. Waiting on a place to move. For my family relationship, my husband’s dr. appointment on 7/26. 
  11. Belacic -Healing for husband and myself, family relationships, and new place to live. 
  12. Anonymous – for Jake, dealing with a rare, life-threatening disease and anemia. Please heal him and help him get care to prevent it from progressing. He knows Jesus.
  13. Margo R. – I’m having surgery on 9/9 and will be out of work 3-4 weeks. Please pray the surgery will go well, for a quick recovery, and I will not be stressed missing work. 
  14. Ivan & Mary N. -Pray for our son Aaron who is on his PHD program in Germany & England. Pray for his mental outlook, stress of work, loneliness, depression, and anxiety. Pray he looks to God.
  15. Rich – For direction, open doors, and provision as the church prepares to relocate by 7/25/20.
  16. Ada & Ernie F. – for daughter Natalie (tongue cancer).  She’s having difficulty with the new mouthpiece (pain, choking, panic attacks). The cancer is still in the nerve, but it has not spread.
  17. Christy R. -For Dave’s nephew, Trevor, he had a stroke and is now paralyzed on his right side and blind in his right eye. 
  18. Gregg  – cancer, heart complications, recovery from stroke.
  19. Kaitlyn & Michael C. – For Michael’s projected 6 week recovery from surgery to remove the tumor under his eye. 
  20. Hannah S. – For my sister Grace. Continued physical healing. Pray that she can find rest in this busy season of life (she works full time and goes to school full time). Pray that Jesus becomes more desirable to her.
  21. Olivia H. – Please pray for Brandon S; he has been at Theo Lacy for almost 2 years. His next court date is September 20.  Pray for God’s will and peace during this time. 
  22. Sandy G. – having chemo for cancer.  Lots of pain.
  23. Hannah S. – For my friend, Micha, diagnosed with lymphoma earlier this year. Cancerous tumor has been removed. Pray for continued healing and recovery. And that his walk with God would deepen.  
  24. Rich C  – For our service members protecting our country.
  25. Nicki B. – Diagnosed with a large, aggressive abdominal tumor. Starting treatment soon and asking the Lord to shrink or remove the tumor, so that the surgery might be less dangerous. Pray also for the family.
  26. Catherine S.  – Pray for Dominic, my 24 yr. old son who has a spirit of rebellion. Pray for another friend, who did not come today as he said he would. I have shared about the Lord with him, he is looking for truth and needs healing from severe panic attacks.

  1. Rod & Zuzana Thompson – https://crossculturemissions.com – working out of the Calvary Chapel in Montebelluna, Italy to establish a Bible College and equip future pastors and leaders throughout Europe. Help in establishing a new home in Italy.
  2. Jeff & Sonja Stewart (Josephine, Asher) – https://www.lavignemissions.com/ – missionaries to France.  Have just planted a church in the town of Vernon, France (L’Eglise Trouvée). Have settled into a new building to meet in. Learning the language. Raising support. 
  3. John & Jamie Kim (Joshua, Jeremiah, Joel) – http://www.yesorphan.org/ – A ministry to orphans on Jeju Island in South Korea.  Their vision is to disciple older orphans and then send them as missionaries to places that others can’t go.
  4. Samaritan’s Purse – https://www.samaritanspurse.org/ – (Franklin Graham, Robert Vasquez) global outreach to hurting people; Operation Christmas Child shoebox outreach in November. 
  5. Harvest Crusade – http://www.harvest.org/crusades/ – (Greg Laurie, John Collins, Neil Groom) – Wisdom for the leadership team. That God would use our church to reach lost people.  For those who made decisions at the crusades. 
  6. Mexico Outreach – http://calvaryfullerton.org/ministries/outreach/missions/ – (Manuel & Jennifer Castro) – for God to use our church in the short term trips to Mexico.  Next trip is September 6-8.
  7. Ryan and Julie Gleason – https://pioneerbible.org/give/ryanandjuliegleason – getting ready to launch into southeast Asia to plant a church and translate the Bible into a language that has no Bible.
  8. Jeff and Jenny Crandall – http://worshipcatalyst.com/  – serving with Worship Catalyst ministries.  Mentoring worship leaders around the country, focusing on church planters. Raising support.
  9. Calvary Chapel Kirov – https://www.facebook.com/CalvaryChapelKirovoChepetsk – pray for Pastor Alexi, his wife Natasha, children Ilya, Olesya, and Alexandra.  The weekly Bible Study in Kirov on Sundays at noon. The outreach Bible Study going on in the neighboring city of Kirovo-chepetsk on Sundays at 4pm.
