Week of 7-19-21

SPECIFIC PRAYER REQUESTS

  1. Gri & Michael W. – both are being treated for cancer. Fatigue and insomnia have been a struggle.
  2. Kevin & Michelle – for their son and his family on the mission field with an unreached Muslim people group.
  3. Tino & Queta – Please pray for our neighbor Tess Guerrero. She has been away from home for 5 months in hospitals and convalescent care. She had a stroke and is still on a ventilator.
  4. Rich – For our service men and women protecting our country.
  5. Rich – a friend, Pastor Steve – his daughter Nicole (31yrs old) has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
  6. Caleb – Prayer request for my friend Brad whose cancer has aggressively returned, they don’t know where it is yet. Prayers for healing and strength and the Lord to do a physical and spiritual miracle in this season.
  7. Olivia – For Brandon – some praise!  The jails will be open soon for visits.  His father will be able to see him once a month.
  8. Gregg – cancer, heart complications, recovery from stroke.
  9. Ada – prayers please for my co-worker, having a biopsy procedure.
  10. Daniel – Uncle Russel is at home and healing from a serious – NON-COVID infection and battling Parkinson disease.
  11. Mariel – For my Member Donald. Wife left him. Kelly needs Jesus. Donald wants God to turn this around.
  12. Tom – Please pray for the family of my dear friend Wes Flores who passed away June 16th of a heart attack. Lord Jesus please receive him into your loving arms.
  13. Becky – Thank you everyone for your prayers for my friend Kathy Bohemer, the stroke was mild, praise God!!
  14. Franklin – Please pray for my daughter Elena, she is nearing the due date to have her baby. 
  15. Lynn – Prayers for The President Joe Biden and his Administration, for Pastors Rich, Caleb, Franklin Daniel and anyone that I forgot. Prayers for the stability of the Church and its members to continue the wonderful work they’re doing, we pray for the families of the collapsed building in Florida and hope for survivors. Prayers for the first responders who serve our nation and for the violence and loss of lives. Prayers for my family and friends, and myself 11 years ago to this date Pastor Rich blessed my marriage to “My Captain”.  I ask for continuous prayers for strength as I seek normalcy.
  16. Mariel – For my Member Paulette. Just had a round of chemo and she’s not feeling well.
  17. Randy – for his son, has a complete obstruction in his colon and has super high blood pressure! Pray for healing, health and safety!!
  18. Ernie – Please pray for my daughter Natalie which is having surgery in her mouth tomorrow requires some bone filling , plus root canal . Now she has to train herself to chew on the opposite side which is becoming very difficult and lost a lot of weight she is weighing in at 75 lbs. 
  19. Jodi – Prayer for my daughter Francis as she hits 20 weeks pregnant. She’s got four months to go, pray for a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. I’ll get my MRI results on the seventh so keep us in prayer that everything turns out well.
  20. Neil – Please pray for Anna, who has an aggressive cancer and will be undergoing various forms of treatment. Anna is the wife of Mario, a coworker of mine. Please pray for their entire family.
  21. Rich – for my cousin’s son Charles, 37, diagnosed with hereditary gastric cancer.
  22. Brandon – Praise report. They didn’t find cancerous tissue in the biopsy from Genesis surgery. I pray that it doesn’t come back. She still needs to continue treatment so I pray for strength and continued healing until she gets a clean bill of health.
  23. Daniel – Barbara Dorey is grieving the loss of her husband. Pray for comfort and for God’s will in her life!
  24. Mariel – Dafny, one of my Members. She is expecting her 3rd child and boyfriend doesn’t want her to have the child. He promised he would be faithful this time but hasn’t been. Prayer for comfort and strength.
  25. Rozalie – At home and healing well…  prayers for strength and endurance, and a full recovery.
  26. Amanda – My friend Amanda had her second baby this week, baby Jack. Please be praying for the parents as they are struggling with not sleeping much.
  27. Anonymous – Please pray for my friends to be baptized in the Spirit tonight as we study God’s Word. My friends are new believers and need the power of a Spirit led life to protect against temptation and fear.
  28. Ernie – Please pray for David Bales & his Cowboy church in Tombstone Arizona.
  29. Jobanna – Please pray for me, I have depression again. Questioning if this is a side effect of the Covid shot, along with the neck pain and migraines.
  30. Lyle – My friend Gentre Thompson.  is starting to improve but is likely to remain in the hospital (in Oregon) for another few weeks. He is able to digest some soft foods now, while still battling with nausea, vomiting, and weakness. We really appreciate that the church is praying for him! His wife is not a believer, but in her communication with Lyle she is starting to praise Him and has said how much she appreciates the prayers. 
  31. Robin – Please put my sister, Adrienne Kristine, on the prayer chain.  She had a seizure and a bad fall, and has broken several ribs, and broke her collar bone.
  32. Lyle -Please pray for my father Rod Burley, his cancer has returned.
  33. Nicki B. – Diagnosed with an abdominal tumor. Asking the Lord to shrink or remove the tumor, so that any surgery might be less dangerous. Pray also for the family.  Her MS has also been flaring up.
  34. Stephanie G. – Please continue to pray for my husband Lon that his Parkinson’s disease does not get any worse. Thank you.
  35. Steve T – Recovering from intestinal surgery.  Cancer treatments taking a break while surgery heals.
  36. Kim W. – Please pray for a job interview I had this weekend. This is the one that seems perfect, it’s exactly what I do best and is working remote!
  37. Gene – Please pray for the Solomon family as their mom went to be with her Lord this weekend.
  38. Peter Bright – Pray for my brother-in-law Dan (70) a retired minister, he’s been fighting Covid for 3 weeks and his fever is back, it spiked to 105 a few days ago but is down again to 101 thankfully. He has not gone for medical help but needs to.
  39. Daniel – A friend of mine, Kimber in Florida, her parents Susan and Carl both caught Covid. Susan is vaccinated against Covid and went to the hospital ER and is responding to medicine. Carl is not seeking medical help and is not vaccinated. Pray for Kimber for peace of mind and calm heart.
  40. Ernie – Please pray for our large group of folks, as we travel by motorcycles to the celebration of life of our friend David in Phoenix Arizona.
  41. Ada – My niece in SC is asking for prayer for close family, the Lopez family. The father, Ray, just passed this morning of cancer & mom, Tammy, is battling cancer too, they have kids. Prayers for family & my niece to be able to be there for her friends & share our Lords love with them.
  42. Peter Bo – Please pray for my friend Jennifer! She has pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer. It’s rapidly moving through her body. The doctors aren’t doing anything to help her! And she is currently in liver failure. Please pray that her family will be able to get to her, before she dies! Thank you so much! God bless you all!
  43. Maribel – for my friend Dominga she has lung cancer and scheduled for surgery on Monday Jul 19th(9 am). Pray for healing, successful operation and salvation for her and her family.
  44. Caleb – for pastor Graydon Jessup – he has an aggressive but treatable form of cancer. He has long road ahead of him for the next six months.
  45. Hannah – Please be praying for my family this week, we are going to be having some really difficult conversations/decisions to make as well as a funeral of our dear friend Darren.
  46. Tino – Please continue to pray for my dad Salvador. He’s in convalescent care working on leg strength and stamina. He is suffering from depression too.
  47. Art – My brother-in-law sadly succumbed to Cov-19 and passed away yesterday. He was 41 yrs old. He is survived by his wife Anabel and three children. Please pray that the lord comforts her and the children and give her peace.

MISSIONS SUPPORT

  1. John & Jamie Kim (Joshua, Jeremiah, Joel) – http://www.yesorphan.org/ – A ministry to orphans on Jeju Island in South Korea.  Their vision is to disciple older orphans and then send them as missionaries to places that others can’t go. 
  2. Victor & Sonia Mayoral – https://sojournersmission.com/ – Victor and Sonia head Sojourners Missions, which works with orphans and churches in the Rosarito area of Mexico.  We team with them when we do our Mexico outreaches.
  3. Jeff & Sonja Stewart (Josephine, Asher) – https://www.lavignemissions.com/ – missionaries to France.  Have planted a church in the town of Vernon, France (L’Eglise Trouvée). They are in the process of merging with another church that doesn’t have a pastor. Jeff is now preaching in French without a translator. Raising support. 
  4. Rod & Zuzana Thompson – https://crossculturemissions.com – working out of the Calvary Chapel in Montebelluna, Italy to establish a Bible College and equip future pastors and leaders throughout Europe and Africa.
  5. Jeff and Jenny Crandall – http://worshipcatalyst.com/  – serving with Worship Catalyst ministries.  Mentoring worship leaders around the country, focusing on church planters. Starting a School of Worship in Tucson. Raising support.
  6. Southeast Asia – https://pioneerbible.org – We are supporting a young couple that is getting ready to launch out in July 2021 to a nation in Southeast Asia to plant a church and translate the Bible into a language that currently has no Bible.  They will be heading into a country that is hostile to Christians, so for the sake of security, we won’t be using their names.  But you can pray.
  7. Calvary Chapel Kirov – https://www.facebook.com/CalvaryChapelKirovoChepetsk – pray for Pastor Alexi, his wife Natasha, and children Ilya, Olesya, and Alexandra.  The weekly Bible Study in Kirov on Sundays at noon. The outreach Bible Study going on in the neighboring city of Kirovo-chepetsk on Sundays at 4pm.
  8. Harvest Crusade – http://www.harvest.org/crusades/ – (Greg Laurie, John Collins, Neil Groom) – Wisdom for the leadership team. That God would use our church to reach lost people. The next Crusade at Angel Stadium will be October 3, 2021.
  9. Mexico Outreach – http://calvaryfullerton.org/ministries/outreach/missions/ – (Manuel & Jennifer Castro) – for God to use our church in the short-term trips to Mexico.
  10. Our Outreach Ministry – pray for direction and open doors as we develop ministries that will impact Fullerton, including the feeding of school district families in need. We are calling this new initiative “Serve Fullerton”.
  11. Samaritan’s Purse – https://www.samaritanspurse.org/ – (Franklin Graham) global outreach to hurting people; Operation Christmas Child shoebox outreach in November.
